October 3, 2024– The annual badminton tournament among Islamic centers in Canada, representing a vibrant community of over two million Muslims, concluded successfully on Sunday, September 29. The event culminated in a grand award ceremony, where trophies were presented to the champions.
Among the 22 participating teams, brothers Khaled and Tariq showcased exceptional skill and teamwork, ultimately clinching the championship title in a thrilling competition. Their outstanding performance captivated the audience and highlighted the spirit of camaraderie within the community.

your initiatIves in organizing the 5th annual Men’s Double Badminton Tournament on September 28 and 29 is well appreciated.
All the past tournaments were very successful and brought our community together in the spirit of unity and togetherness.
Today in the oppening ceremony I had the honor to invite the twenty two participant teams to start the official beginning of the tournament.
This event continues to gain popularity, providing a great opportunity for badminton players and spectators from various Islamic institutes to come together. It offers a platform for participants to represent their organizations, enjoy a fun and social environment, and also showcase their talents in this competitive sport.
